Senator tries to explain Sotomayor's "wise Latina" comment

Today, Sen. Pat Leahy spoke with Obama's Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor. During a press conference following that meeting, Leahy was asked about Sotomayor's comment saying that a "wise Latina" would make a better decision than a white man. Leahy offered a brief explanation -- but then changed the topic and started attacking Republicans.
